Hi folks,

I have read quite a lot of books around and watched at least two or three times the series and need something new and fresh. Even if I know these are not cannons, I think I'll give a try to novels.

I read here and there that Simon&Shuster ones are quite good and saw they are preparing to release a new mini series around DS9 (a new one but don't spoil :p)

So I wanted to know if there are readers of those novels around that can give me their thoughts around these, if they are good enough (and why) or if some should be avoided or the whole series...

I want something with a good story and a good bunch of details that stay a bit around the main storyline though...

My thoughts are to go through the serie to avoid spoils like the ones coming in the fall.

Thanks! ^^

EDIT: I forgot to say I finished Prime Directive and now I'm thinking about either Federation by Judith Reeves-Stevens or start Typhon pact serie (don't wanna spoil myself with the lately released Star Trek into the darkness novel :p)

Star Trek Continues "Pilgrim of Eternity" is the new fan production-I watched it last night and it was the best.I think it is perfect. The show was really good with reproducing the feel of the TOS show. The return of apollo and the same actor that played in TOS episode ''Who Mourns for Adonais?''

They have the son of James Doohan playing scotty--- the asian guy from mythbusters is sulu. The guy that plays kirk looks really close to william shatner at a distance. The set is really dead on with lighting and camera angles.
